"Jeran Has A Fan Girl"

This week, Jeran is in his high school's production of "You Can't Take It With You."  He plays the part of a rich young man who falls in love with a girl from work, whose family is kind of quirky and too odd for his parents...

A picture is worth a thousand words:

Kind of scary that he can look at a girl like that, right?

Boyfriend meets quirky mom of girlfriend.  Grandfather taking it all in.

Boyfriend meets eccentric dad of girlfriend who explodes illegal fireworks and plays with erector sets as hobbies.

And after the play:

Jeran's friend, Koleman congratulates him.  Uptight, rich stage dad on the right.

After the play, we congratulated Jeran and other cast members, and tried to hang out in the background while they was mingling and talking.  While waiting, Gabby said, "Mom, Jeran has a fan girl."

"A what?"

"A fan girl.  She's asking for his signature."

Sure enough, I look to where Gabby is looking and see Jeran signing a program for an adoring 5th grade fan.

(According to Megan, Jeran has a lot of fan girls and Jeran is a flirt.  According to Jeran, he needed coaching to make it look natural on stage.  Apparently, lessons paid off in real life as well.)

This story may one day be known as Jeran Has A Fan Girl.  It may also be known as That Blogpost Where Jeran Wished None of His Siblings Attended High School With Him So He Could Flirt Without His Sister Noticing.
